As communication industries have rapidly developed in recent years, the need to process and evaluate information has become more important than ever. New disciplines, approaches, scientific methods, and techniques need to be formulated and applied to the social, political, and cultural realities of contemporary Turkey, in order to create high standards in communication education. This is our aim in the Faculty of Communication, founded in the 1998-1999 academic year. Consequently, we have established an academic staff who are competent, dynamic, and experienced in their fields. The Faculty has three departments: the Department of Public Relations, the Department of Communication Design, and the Department of Radio Television and Cinema.
