LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Will learn about the role, reasons, and functions of religion and spirituality in the life of a human being.
2) Will see the different ways of scientific inquiry, research and assessment methods related to behaviors concerning religion and spirituality.
3) Will learn about the different psycho-neuro-biological variables associated with religiosity, spirituality, and prayer.
4) Will find out about how religious and spiritual behavior changes according to age, gender, and culture.
5) Will learn about the results of scientific research findings related to the association between spirituality and somatic and mental health and death.
