LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Will learn basic concepts, research methods and theories of comparative psychology.
2) Will acquire an understanding of behavior and the principles of learning in nearly all species of animal life, including humans.
3) Will learn the basis of animal behavior through the findings of comparative biology and experimental psychology.
4) Will learn to make comparisons between the behavior, learning styles and capabilities of species.
5) Will acquire an understanding of animal cognition and its development and function.
