LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Will define the concept of gender.
2) Will know sex and gender related development and processes in historical context.
3) Will know research about gender and evaluate them critically.
4) Will learn the mechanisms through which gender is constructed.
5) Will learn the mechanisms through which gender is perpetuated.
6) Will describe the similarities and differences of gender.
7) Will learn psychological theories that try to explain gender differences.
8) Will know the consequences of gender of the individual himself and social relations.
